ITAL 2033 - Italy Travel-Study
This study tour offers students an opportunity to learn and discover Italy’s customs, cities, and landscapes, together with art, history and geography. It presents an overview of Italian civilization from its origins to the present day. Topics examined include Italy's rich legacy with a timeline that spans all major periods: Etruscan, Roman, Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Neoclassical and Modern. Highlights encompass visiting some major Italian cities (such as Rome, Florence, and Venice) and experiencing a unique immersion into Italian art, architecture, gastronomy, history, religion, music, fashion, and current events. (The course is taught in English, 3 credits, knowledge of the Italian language is not required. No prerequisite required)
