{"id":288,"date":"2022-03-23T08:30:00","date_gmt":"2022-03-23T08:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/international.iitd.ac.in\/nzc\/?p=288"},"modified":"2022-07-18T09:55:29","modified_gmt":"2022-07-18T09:55:29","slug":"virtual-meet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/international.iitd.ac.in\/nzc\/2022\/03\/23\/virtual-meet\/","title":{"rendered":"Virtual Meet &#8211; University of Auckland &#038; IITD"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Participants of the Meeting:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>University of Auckland:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Dr Erik Lithander, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Strategic Engagement<\/li><li>Ms. Deborah McAllister, Interim Deputy Director International Partnerships and Services<\/li><li>Ms. Deepa Chaturvedi, International Partnerships Advisor<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>IIT Delhi:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Professor Naveen Garg, Dean International programs<\/li><li>Ms Jyoti Kala<\/li><li>Ms Richa Saxena<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Following points were discussed during meeting:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ms. Deepa Tripathi Chaturvedi<\/strong>: Discussed about the visiting fellow &amp; research program and India-NZ Business Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dr. Erik Lithander<\/strong>: Proposed an introductory meeting with Head International, New Zealand &amp; IITD to choose theme for the workshop and also discussed about Seed funding &amp; funding options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ms. <\/strong><a href=\"mailto:d.mcallister@auckland.ac.nz\"><strong>Deborah McAllister<\/strong><\/a>: Proposed to find the connection for research &amp; broad opportunity. She also discussed about the summer internship with couple of institute of India &amp; Research scholarship. Deborah explained about the initiative of NRF government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prof Naveen Garg<\/strong>: Prof. Garg discussed about the Joint masters interest from both side &amp; training opportunity to PhD researchers. He also discussed about the summer research internship at undergraduate level and expressed interest to host students &amp; faculty at IITD.
