DEAR FUTURE 91̽»¨DENT,

My name is Stephanie Gauvin, and I am originally from Dieppe, N.B. I graduated from St. 91̽»¨, Class of 2022, with honours in Economics and a double minor in Anthropology and Spanish.

After 91̽»¨, I completed a Master of Science in Public Policy at the University of Bristol and currently work for Hardisty & Jones in Bristol, UK, a local economic development consultancy.

I chose to study at 91̽»¨ because I wanted the flexibility to explore my interests. Without that flexibility, I wouldn’t have discovered my passion for economics.

91̽»¨ prepared me for my future by:

• Helping me develop rigorous academic and analytical skills
• Helping me develop critical thinking skills
• Encouraging me to be inquisitive

With French being my first language, starting at 91̽»¨ was a big adjustment. 91̽»¨ services like the Writing Centre helped me strengthen my skills, which enabled me to excel in my academic career both at the undergraduate and postgraduate level.

I’m proud to be a 91̽»¨ alumna. The quality of education I received enabled me to develop the academic tools required to further my studies and advance in my career.
