Following points were discussed during meeting:

Ms. Deepa Tripathi Chaturvedi: Discussed about the visiting fellow & research program and India-NZ Business Council.

Dr. Erik Lithander: Proposed an introductory meeting with Head International, New Zealand & IITD to choose theme for the workshop and also discussed about Seed funding & funding options.

Ms. Deborah McAllister: Proposed to find the connection for research & broad opportunity. She also discussed about the summer internship with couple of institute of India & Research scholarship. Deborah explained about the initiative of NRF government.

Prof Naveen Garg: Prof. Garg discussed about the Joint masters interest from both side & training opportunity to PhD researchers. He also discussed about the summer research internship at undergraduate level and expressed interest to host students & faculty at IITD. He also proposed for separate bilateral agreement to take forward the areas of research partnership

Both the parties mutually agreed:

  • To create a NZC-IIT-Delhi website having information on the current & planned activities of the Centre and news and information relevant to our work, any dignitary visit, seminars, and research outcomes.
  • UoA-IIT Delhi joint programmes and student exchange
  • Collaborative Initiatives for NZC
  • Establish a programme for the exchange of undergraduate students
  • Short-term faculty visits on a reciprocal basis for limited periods of time for education or research
  • PhD researchers visit for a short duration
  • Summer Research Internships for undergraduate students

Meeting ended with vote of thanks & to schedule a next meeting for further action.
